Obituary of Roy Leonard Bader
Roy Bader, a resident of Chetwynd, B.C., formerly of Vanderhoof, B.C., passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 in Dawson Creek, B.C. at the age of 79 years.
Roy was born on January 25, 1935 in Wilkie, Saskatchewan to Stephen and Katherine Bader.
He loved farming and working with horses and cattle, which eventually led him to become a ranch hand. Later Roy worked in the forestry industry, operating logging equipment and cats.
From an early age Roy loved to sing and play guitar. He would often showcase his talents at house parties or around campfires.
Roy was predeceased by his son; Roy Stephen Bader.
Roy is survived by all of his loving children; Byron (Linda) Bader, Bonnie (Bill) Disher, Joy (Evan) Benoit, Kathy McLean, Gordon (Karin) Bader, Donna (Neil) Golding, Grandchildren; Duane, David, Donald, James, Rhyanna, Jason, Diane, Colten and Dorian.
