Trent Richardson

Obituary of Trent Allen Richardson

Trent was born in Elnora, Alberta on February 24, 1951 to June and Orville Richardson. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a friend. Trent was gentle, kind, sensitive, respectful, honest trustworthy, reliable and a good listener. He never gave offense and often thought of other people before himself. He was a courageous volunteer firefighter since the age of sixteen. First as a member of the Burns Lake Volunteer Fire Department and then as a member of the Chetwynd Volunteer Fire Department. Trent was an active member of the Chetwynd community and was dedicated to the Moberly Lake Golf Club; spending many volunteer hours there. Trent loved and participated in baseball, golf and hockey-spending a considerable amount of time in the penalty box. He was a man with many friends and family who loved him; always polite and warm, those of us lucky enough to have really known him feel thankful to have been a part of his life. We are in shock at Trent's sudden passing, the sorrow we feel is all encompassing. However, we do take comfort that he is now in good company with his brother Randy, his mother June and his father Orville. We love you, we look up to you and we will always miss you. Trent passed away on December 6, 2009 in Chetwynd, B.C. at the age of 58 years. A memorial service was held on Friday, December 11, 2009 at 1:00 pm at our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Chetwynd, B.C. Pastor Bill Evans officiated, interment will be at a later date. For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Trent to the Chetwynd Seniors Assisted Living Housing Fund.
