Obituary of Mary Marcella Moffett
On December 14, 2009, Marcie Moffett passed away at the QEII hospital at the age of 82 years.
Marcie along with her husband Richard settled in the Fly Shot Lake area in 1961 where she resided until her passing. Marcie held the position of Secretary-Treasurer for the Grande Prairie Public School District for 26 years until her retirement in 1988. Marcie's favorite past times were tending to her garden and watching a football and basketball games, and was always a strong supporter of school athletic programs.
Marcie is survived by her sons, Shawn, Tim (Linda), grandchildren Ian, Jamie (Wayne) Renschler, her great grandchildren Katelyn and William. She is also survived by her brothers Jack (Caroline) Crawford, Joe (Judy) Crawford and Sister-in-Law Christine Crawford.
Marcie is predeceased by her husband Richard and brother Jim.
With respect to Marcie's wishes no memorial services will be held.
