Donavon Cameron

Obituary of Donavon Riley Cameron

Donavon Riley Cameron was born in Calgary, Alberta and left us at the young age of 25 years at Moberly Lake, BC. Donavon was always a free spirit while growing up. He was kind, humorous and loving. Donavon was a little brother to Elyshia and a big brother to Laurissa and Sylvia. Donavon had many interests but two of his favourite were playing Airsoft and riding his new racing quad. He had lots of friends that he enjoyed playing Airsoft with, and also went to tournaments. Sylvia and Donavon had recently been living and working together and in their free time would enjoy chilling out in the "sugar shack" or playing a game of Airsoft together. His quad was one of his most recent major accomplishments, He loved that thing and went everywhere on it, to and from work, back home on the lake and to Mom and Dad's. You could always tell he was coming by the sound of him racing up the road. He was very helpful and was always there for Mom and Dad, he spent most of his time helping them out on the farm, haying, caring for cattle etc...(even though he hated the cows and insisted he wasn't a farmer). He was an exceptional Son and Mom and Dad enjoyed having him around, an amazing brother, always there when you needed someone to talk to or to reach up to the highest shelf in the cupboard, just there for anything. He was also an incredible Uncle to his two nephews and niece, whom he loved dearly! He never missed a birthday, always called, and loved playing and spending time with them. The kids adored him, and looked up to him; they are going to miss out on an amazing Uncle and role model! One of Donavon's favourite places to visit and hang out was Pemberton, BC. He always looked forward to going down to visit his family. He always seemed much more laid back while he was there and enjoyed helping out on his Uncle and Aunties farm. He loved animals and enjoyed caring for them. He had a dog, Davey, his best friend, and two cats, Bonnie and Clyde, oh and a Bonsai tree, this Bonsai tree was his baby, and he even named it. We will have to look into care for this tree and keep this thing alive just for him! Donavon was a smart young man, full of potential, with a kind heart and a sensitive, loving nature. These qualities are what made him the wonderful person he was. It is unfortunate that he was not able to see these great qualities in himself and to see just how much he was loved. If he did I am sure he would have changed the world for the better. Donavon touched the lives of everyone who knew him and he is going to be sadly missed by his entire family and friends. Donavon, We Love You and Miss You Deeply. We will look forward to seeing your smile once again someday. Take care my friend. Donavon was predeceased by, "Grandpa and Grandma Gauthier", Great Grandparents Sinnes and Perkins, Fiancé Cheyanne Harris, Grandparents Cameron, Cousin Jesse Gordon and a great friend Francis. Donavon is survived by; Mom Jackie, Dad Duane, Sisters Elyshia (Jason), Laurissa (Aaron), and Sylvia, Nephews Connor and Logan, Niece Lily, Grandparents Howard and Donna, and Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
