Obituary of Mary Jo Watson
It is with great sadness the family of Mary Joyce Watson announce her passing on April 30th, 2009 after a two year battle with cancer.
Mary Jo is survived by her loving husband, Norman, her two sons, Shale (Shelley) and Jade, and grandchildren Michael, Jermey, Isabelle, Erica, Slade and Jessica and her faithful dog Texie. She is also survived by 3 sisters and 2 brothers all of Alberta.
Mary Jo worked as an LPN for 40 years - the last 30 being at Chetwynd Hospital.
A special thank you to all her friends and co-workers who gave her exceptional care for the past 2 ½ months. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you Dr. Ventre for all the years of care. Also thanks to Pastor Bill for his visits, words of encouragement and rides in the handi-van.
With respect to Mary Jo's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family gathering was held on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Reynars Funeral Chapel. Cremation will follow; interment will be held at a later date.
