Obituary of Sid Calliou
Sydney (Sid) Calliou was born on April 1, 1963, in Dawson Creek, to Edward and Lena Calliou. He was the sixth of seven children. Sid grew up in Chetwynd. He worked as a skidder operator, as well as other machinery. He enjoyed working on vehicles with his uncle Rene Stoney. Sid also loved to go mushroom picking with his family and friends. Sid was a father of two children. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. If you knew Sid at all, chances are you received at least one 'middle of the night' phone call. He was always well groomed and his friends say that his smile could get him whatever he wanted. Left to cherish Sid's memory are his children; Jeffery and Shayna, his mother, Lena, Brother, Ron, Sisters; Shirley (Bruce), Dorcus (Wes) and Rhonda, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends.
