Obituary of John William Reith
John William Reith a longtime resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. passed away on January 19th, 2008 in Dawson Creek, at the age of 64 years.
John was born in Rose Valley, Saskatchewan. He grew up in B.C.'s lower mainland and settled in Dawson Creek, BC. He has resided in Dawson Creek for the past 40 years working and enjoying his favorite pastimes of fishing and hunting.
He will be remembered fondly by his sister Betty Reith of Langley, brother-in-law Irvin Stadel of Vanderhoof, niece Lorrie Smith of Penticton, nephews Douglas and Shane Stadel of Edmonton, his great niece and nephews Steffanie, Steven, and Robert Smith and his many cousins and extended family.
John will be welcomed with open arms by his predeceased parents Douglas & Kathleen Reith and his sisters, Lillian Stadel and Louise Reith.
With respect to John's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. Interment will be at a later date.
For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of John to the local SPCA, as John loved his dogs.
