Galena was a kind, loving, soft-spoken, hard working, humorous lady who was well respected by all. She was a very devoted wife, protective of her children and grandchildren. She held a lot of dignity and took pride in the love of her family. Grandma was a good provider and took wonderful care of her home; she surrounded herself in the lives of her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Not only was she a mother, she was very proud of the grandchildren she raised. Although her last years were spent in pain, she would never complain. Both sons were extremely devoted to their mother, Roy who was her constant companion and Robbie who never strayed far from her side. She was loved dearly by all and made a lot of new friends at the Hythe Continuing Care Centre.
Any donations can be made to the Hythe Continuing Care Centre. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Centre for taking wonderful care of our beloved Galena. Many thanks to Dr.Crowe, whom she dearly respected.
Rest in peace mom, in your rightful place, alongside dad…we will never forget you…
