Obituary of Jack Eugene Monet
Jack was born on May 31, 1931 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He passed away on May 23, 2008 in Chetwynd, B.C. at the age of 76 years.
Jack was a retired Machinist & Millwright; he lived and worked in the North for more than half his life. He was a member of the Chetwynd Gospel Tabernacle and tried to encourage many young people. Jack was an avid hunter, sportsman, fisherman, photographer as well as craft person. He will be missed by family and friends alike.
Jack is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vi Monet, his son Michael, daughters Sharon and Sheila, grandsons Glen and Pat, granddaughters Mavis & Charlene as well as several great grandchildren.
For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Jack to the Memorial Fund at CIBC Bank in Chetwynd, B.C.
With respect to Jack's wishes no formal funeral service will be held.
