A Grandmother's Gift
In memory of my Grandson Trent Collins
Grandchildren, Grandma's pride and joy
Three girls and three very active boys.
The picture's I took and the bragging I did
Never mind the diapers or drool on the bib.
They are extension's of me and I love them so much
I hated to wash the windows and erase their touch
Over the years I watch them mature
My pride in them, they know for sure
I didn't expect this happiness to end
So please God be Grandmas friend.
Look after Trent and the dog he loved
Give them freedom and space up above
I'll always treasure Trent and keep him near
His picture's, his love, my memories so clear
I'll work real hard to get the best of each day
Trent loved his Grandma and would want it that way.
Written by Trent's Grandma; Helen Simmonds.
