Obituary of Paula Simone Limoges
Paula Limoges (Bourgeois) of Girouxville passed away at McLennan at the age of 89. Paula was born on the family farm in Girouxville,AB.to Paul and Emilie (Vos) Bourgeois. She attended Girouxville school then took a 2 year course in Home Economics at Olds College. In 1946 she married the love of her life Ernest Limoges and together raised 4 sons. They farmed till Ernest’s passing in 1978 and she then moved to Falher. She worked at the Falher IDA Drug store for 12 years, and then moved to Grande Prairie, working at Walmart as a greeter for 7 years before retiring back to Falher in 2012. Left to mourn are Robert of Grande Prairie, Hector of Calgary, Marcel (Cheryl) of McLennan, Daniel (Roseanne) of Girouxville,10 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Paula is predeceased by her parents Paul and Emilie Bourgeois, sisters Lucie St. Andre (Roger), Suzanne Tanasichuck (Andy) And brother Robert. In respect to Paula’s wishes no formal service will be held. Cremation services were held with inurnment at a later date.
