Obituary of Bela Csizmadi

Bela Csizmadi was born on Monday, September 10, 1951 in Budapest, Hungary to proud parents Bela and Maria Csizmadi. He was the first child of three. Bela grew up in Hungary, and loved his childhood. He cherished Christmas, from the beauty and simplicity of Christmas in Budapest to the excitement and extravagance of Christmas in Canada.

Bela met his first wife Rhonda in 1973 and they married in 1977. In 1974 they welcomed one of his greatest loves of his life, daughter, Angela and in 1976 his next greatest love of his life, daughter, Cindy was born to complete the family. Although things did not work out with the marriage, Bela and Rhonda always cared for each other.

In 2003 Bela met Sheryl and were married in 2005. They remained married until his passing, he loved her very much.

Over the years he worked at Inco, Thompson Manitoba, FFI Pulp Mill in Mackenzie, Louisiana Pacific in Chetwynd, B.C, and he managed apartments in both Mackenzie and Dawson Creek.

Bela was a part of The Elks club for many years as well as PPWC, Club 18, and the Alano Club.

He enjoyed many sports like curling, fishing, bowling, horse shoes, crib, chess, golf, hockey, soccer, camping, and hunting.

To know Bela was to love him. He was generous, brilliant, hilarious, and brutally honest. He loved to tell his crazy wild stories and make people laugh. He loved his family and friends unconditionally and to be surrounded by them. You never doubted his love for you. A huge chunk of all who knew him has gone home with him.
