My thoughts and prayers go out to Harry's daughters & family today. Treasure the memories and know that your dad was a positive addition to our Northern 'family'. Even though many of us moved from the Dawson Creek area there seems to be a tie that binds. It's moments in life such as this that can make us stronger when one feels they can't carry on. And as we all will come to pass it's our children who carry on.

I am saddened to hear of your loss. Harry was a very dear person and friend. I was informed of Harry leaving, just today from my wife. I began to reflect on my introduction to Harry and immediately thought of him as my winger on a pee wee rep hockey team that went to the provincials. So it made me smile to see requests for donations to the Dawson Creek Minor Hockey Association.
I also remember Harry as a baseball player in little league with a Pouce Coupe team. I recall the concern on my team if we thought Harry was going to pitch. He had a lot of velocity on his pitch however our real concern was with his control.
The above as I said was my introduction to Harry but he became a real friend throughout our schooling and partying in our youth.
In adult hood we didn't see much of each other but he came up several times in my memories and always with great respect for a man who earned it.

Was saddened to hear of Harry's passing and send sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.As the saying goes "You never forget the neighborhood kids you grew up with" Although I didn't know him as an adult,I have heard in passing that he never changed much since childhood/teenage yrs, an all around great guy Not surprising at all and I have very fond memories of Harry and the Hamilton family.....Rest In Peace Harry

I Am Sad To See My Long Friend Harry Pass....
He and His Family Spent Much of The 60s & 70s With Myself as Well as Almost Every Person In Pouce Coupe and Dawson Creek, I'm Sure
Harry is a Good Friend Of Mine, We Spent a Great Deal Of Time Together for Almost a year Straight and We Had Good Honest Laugh and Chuckle Times, He Was Always Trying to Be the Card, and Did a Good Job at It
I Remember Spending Many Days Egging Him On To Convince Mom to Let Him Tale Old Blue Out of The Driveway So We Could Just Get of Of Town...
I Heard He Ended Up as The Town Foremen and I Thought, How Fitting for Him To Be Back In Pouce, I Bet He Liked That as Well
I Know He Leaves Behind a Beautiful and Extended Family, and I Am So Sad For Them He Also Leaves Behind Thousand of People Who Liked and Loved Harry and I'm Just One Of Them, My Condolences, and Heart Love To All Who he Called Family
