Obituary of Violet McCartney
Violet Olive McCartney, a longtime resident of Dawson Creek, B.C. passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Dawson Creek. at the age of 89 years.
Violet is survived by her four sons, one daughter, two granddaughters, six grandsons, three great-granddaughters, three great-grandsons and brother.
Violet was predeceased by her first husband: Lawrence W, McCartney, second husband: Kurt Popp, Sister: Phyllis, daughter: Lorraine and son Timothy.
Violet was cremated and a small memorial was held in her honour according to her final wishes. Violet will be laid to rest beside her beloved first husband, Lawrence and son Timothy, in the family cemetery at Waskateneau, AB.
Violet was a well loved member of the McCartney family. We are proud of Violet and comforted by her memory in our minds, she will live forever in our hearts.
