Celebration of Life
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend Wayne Johnson. Wayne, a resident of Dawson Creek, BC, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 in the Dawson Creek Hospital at the age of 75 years, after a long battle with heart disease and COPD.
Wayne was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. His grand-daughters were a source of pure joy and love.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 53 years; Linda, daughter, Marnie and husband, Tim, and grand-daughters; Heather, Hallie and Hope.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents; Tony and Frances, son; Dwain, brothers; Ken, Rick, Dan and Brian and sisters; Darlene and Brenda.
A celebration of Wayne’s life was held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 1:00pm from Reynars Chapel. Sharon Miller officiated. Interment will be at a later date.
For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Wayne to the BC SPCA South Peace Branch, 637 114 Avenue, Dawson Creek, BC V1G 3A1.
