Obituary of Trista Monahan

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Trista Monahan, a resident of Fort St. John, B.C. formerly of Enderby B.C. Trista passed away on Sunday March 24, 2019 in Fort St John, at the age of 26 years.

Trista was born on June 10th, 1992 in Red Deer, Alberta. She lived much of her life between Enderby and Vernon, graduating from Al Fortune High School in 2010. She loved sports, animals, and traveling. She spent as much time as possible skiing, water skiing, skydiving, hiking and doing many other sports. She was also very proud of being a volunteer fire fighter with the Charlie Lake Fire Department.

She especially loved meeting and being with people and it was often said that her smile lit up the room when she walked in. Recently she was very excited about reuniting with, and getting to know, her brother, John, whom she had not seen for twelve years.

Always loved and sadly missed by special friend Mitchell Surerus, grandmother Sylvia Monahan Tripp, mother Janet Monahan, siblings Clarissa Monahan, John Monahan and Calista Thirsk and nieces Cloey, Cambrie and Jacay and her four-legged baby “Ru”.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
