Obituary of Julie Tenborg

 Juliette (Julie) Georgette Tenborg, a long-time resident of Chetwynd, BC, formerly of East Pine, BC, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at her home in Chetwynd, at the age of 79 years.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Reynars Chapel. Pauline Haycock officiated. Following the service Julie was laid to rest next to her family in the Mountain View Cemetery, Groundbirch, BC.

Julie was born in Winfield, AB to Frank and Jeanne Chruikshanks on October 4, 1940. In 1960 she married Donald Tenborg and together they had four children; Karen, Emil, Janice and David. Julie spent most of her life on their farm; baking, canning, making jam and growing her garden. She and Don enjoyed being outside. They kept busy with all the chores and enjoyed berry picking when in season.

Julie is survived by her loving husband Don of 59 years, children; Karen (Carl) Fedderly, Emil (Wendy) Tenborg, Janice (Gary) Jameson and David Tenborg; Eight Grandchildren and four Great Grandchildren,

Sisters: Evelyn Bishop and Beverly Linklater, and Brothers: George, Raymond, and Ralph Chruikshanks.

Julie was predeceased by her parents; Frank and Jeanne Chruikshanks, Brother; Ted Chruikshanks, Sisters; Margaret Bartsch, Sylvia Chruikshanks and Bernice Chruikshanks.
