Obituary of Laurene Furtenbacher
Laurene Furtenbacher, a long-time resident of Chetwynd, BC, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband, Joseph, by her side on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the age of 85 years.
Laurene was predeceased by her parents, Archibald and Olive Smith and her son; Daniel.
Laurene is survived by her loving husband of 40 years; Joseph Furtenbacher, daughters; Laurie Dawn Simpson and Deborah Lee Simpson, stepdaughters; Roberta Bond, Mary Ann Kuicak and Judy Furtenbacher-Horvath, and numerous grandchildren.
With respect to Laurene’s wishes no formal funeral service will be held at this time. Interment will be at a later date.
For friends so wishing, donations may be made in made in memory of Laurene to Canadian Cancer Society BC, 565 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4J4
