1938 – 2014
Richard Lawrence McNeil, better known as Larry McNeil, resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 75 years of age. Larry was the ninth child of nine, born to Joseph and Margaret McNeil in Edmonton, Alberta, on October 4, 1938. Larry taught school for a number of years and was an excellent teacher. Larry is survived by his brother Michael McNeil of St. Albert, Alberta, sister Jeanne Sanregret of Edmonton, Alberta, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents Joseph and Margaret McNeil, sisters Marie, Francis, Doreen, Muriel, and Kathleen and brother Walter. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 1:00 pm at the Notre Dame Catholic Church, Dawson Creek, BC, with Father Louis Kwena officiating. Interment to follow at the Brookside Cemetery. The family sends love and prayers and would also like to thank all the caregivers and staff at Rotary Manor for the excellent care you provided for Larry.
