1943 – 2015
Bill passed away peacefully on the morning of December 31, 2015 with his wife Jean at his side. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his wife Jean, his two sons Clifford (Penny) and Wayne (Colleen), and granddaughter Maggie. He will also be remembered with love by his brothers and sister, many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, 4 step-children and grandchildren, and friends.
Bill was born in Emo, Ontario on February 27, 1943 and had two sons. They lived in Faro, Yukon then Tumbler Ridge, B.C. He was a proud father who enjoyed managing his sons’ hockey teams. He also enjoyed camping and the company of family and close friends.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Tumbler Ridge Legion for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Tumbler Ridge Medical Clinic in Bill’s memory would be appreciated.
