My Friend

I met Charlie when I started working at the High Country Inn, in Chetwynd. He was usually the first customer of the day and it would be a few hours of just the two of us. We would watch the soap operas and sit and talk. First tip he ever gave me was a dime, which i considered a good sign, he wasnt much of a tipper. As the years went on and I would go back to FSJ for a few mnths or so, he would always say decided you miss us too much... he became like a grandfather to me, the kind of cool old grandpa you could drink with...lol...and boy did we ever do that...He was a great friend and I always thought I would be able to go home and have another round with him, I never should of put it off, I just always thought he'd always be there. I am blessed to have had him as my friend. I will always cherish his smile and laughter and I will miss him very much. Rest In Peace My Old Friend you are gone but you will never be forgetten. I love you!
