Judith Woodrow

Obituary of Judith Lee Woodrow

Judith Woodrow (Nedland) July 15, 1952- March 2, 2017 Judith traveled to Dawson Creek with her parents Gordon and Shirley Nedland, Sister Barbara and Brother Jack in 1956 from Saskatchewan. She attended Grandview and Frank Ross schools and finished at South Peace High school. Later Barry, Patti, and Paula joined the family. Judith reminisced about family fishing and camping trips to Sukunka and Big Boulder. When we drove by these areas, as a true fisher she would emphasize on how well they had done. After school days she went on to the Yukon for a short period of time then on to Edmonton where she took on the insurance business. Her Multiple Sclerosis helped her decide to slow down and start a new career as housewife back in Dawson Creek with husband Charles. They traveled BC and Alberta to various jobs then returned to Dawson Creek in 2006. Judith’s family and friends will miss her smile and good nature that she shared with all. Greatly missed by husband Charles, brothers Jack (Leona) and Barry (Cindy), sisters Barbara, Patti (Ralph) and Paula (Darren), stepdaughters Barbara (Jason) and Cindy (Jason), nieces and nephews, grandchildren and good friends. There will be a celebration of life this year for family and friends. Judith passed away March 2, 2017 due to complications from lung cancer and MS. I love you For being a wonderful wife And my dearest friend I love you for being the one Who shared my life.
