On Tuesday, December 13th 2016 at the start of the day, James Alexander Shore peacefully left us and went home to meet his Lord. He had just recently celebrated his 100th birthday at the Deer Lodge Center in Winnipeg where he resided.
James was born on November 21, 1916 to Edgerton and Martha Shore at a small farm near Elrose Saskatchewan.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 56 years Audrey; sons Douglas (Sharon), Clifford (Karen) and Kevin; grandchildren Kellie (Tyler), Nancy, Naomi, Hillary, Elden (Rita), Brynn, Rachel (Anthony), Natalie and Delaney; and great grandchildren Bethany, William, Jensen and James Bear; brother Pat; and sister Edith; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Elden, siblings Bradley, Dorothy, Margaret, Virlie, Sheila, and Ila.
A memorial service was held on Friday January 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Lindenwood Manor on 475 Lindenwood Drive E, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
