Obituary of Kristopher Pack

Kristopher Gordon Pack

September 12, 1987-September 11, 2020

Kristopher Pack of Dawson Creek, BC passed away on Friday September 11, 2020, only one day away from his 33rd birthday.

Kris was the oldest son born to Shane and Brenda Pack, with brother Gord arriving on June 11, 1989.  The family lived in Tumbler Ridge, BC for most of Kris’ childhood, then moved to Dawson Creek.

Kris enjoyed sports of all kinds and the martial arts too.  He loved to swim and played hockey as a child, then got into Tae-Kwon-Do, Karate, Kung-Fu, Tai-Chi, Chi-Kung, Bo-Staff, and Fencing.  He ran two 25 km marathons, coming in first place.  He also loved to spend time outdoors, camping, hiking and canoeing (he did trips all over BC) making many friends along the way.

Kris always aspired to become a welder like his father, Shane, who taught him to weld when he was pretty young.  He worked as a welders helper whenever and wherever he could.  It was his passion to burn rod and he had a lot of potential.

Kris was a real ladies man but his heart belonged to Deborah Cripton.  She was his one true love always and forever.  He wrote beautiful verses and poems about love and their love together.  He loved music because he connected with the emotions and it was always there when everyone else was not.  He hated being alone.

Kris was predeceased by his father, Shane Pack and mother, Brenda Pack.  He will be missed by his brother Gord Pack, extended family and many, many friends.

Kris loved hard and lived hard and was of the opinion that ‘If you don’t fight for what you want, don’t cry for what you lose!’

A private service will be held at a later date to celebrate Kris' life.

For friends so wishing, donations in Kris’ memory may be made to any charity involved with mental health, addictions and homelessness.

Very Respectfully,
