Brittany Victoria was born December 2nd 1987 to loving parents Gary and Angela Reimer in Dawson Creek BC. Brittany was the first grandchild to Dennis and Eva Black and Jacob and Hazel Reimer. On December 9th 1989 Gary and Angela welcomed another little girl Krysten Merilee, little sister to Brittany. The girls grew up in Dawson Creek, moved briefly to ThunderBay Ontario, where their dad worked at the time and Brittany attended Kindergarten. Back in Dawson Creek the girls spent their days playing with family friends, riding bikes, going to Uncle Darren and Aunty Tracy’s to ride the lawn mower or be pulled behind on the toboggan, snow or no snow. Brittany attended Alliance Church with her family as a young girl and later Rolla Baptist Church. Brittany was extremely family oriented and doing things as a family was always so important. She had 3 (plus many many many more) very close friends Krystal, Kaela and Andrea that stuck with her all throughout K-12 school and into adulthood.

In 2007 Brittany met the love of her life Luke Rechsteiner. Brittany and Luke were married February 20th 2010 with not a detail left undone. Brittany always knew she wanted to start a family. After a bit of a hard start, On September 28th 2011 Brittany and Luke welcomed their first baby girl Quinn Ava Rechsteiner. Followed by Bennett Luke Rechsteiner on May 12th 2014 and Nash Dennis Rechsteiner on January 30th 2017.

Brittanys babies were the little loves of her life. She was always their biggest cheerleader in all that they did and she loved them fiercely. Being a mother was definitely what Brittany was meant to be.

Brittany overcame some of the greatest obstacles in life the biggest one being a terminal diagnosis of Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. As many of you know Brittany conquered it with positivity, grace, faith and strength like nothing I have ever seen before. She marched forward, continued to be the mother she needed to be for her children and wife she needed to be for Luke. When we all wanted to crumble around her she was the glue that held us all together. She passed away peacefully at home September 26th 2020, surrounded by her babies and family.

Brittany will be incredibly loved and missed and leaves behind her loving husband Luke Rechsteiner, Children Quinn, Bennett and Nash Rechsteiner. Parents Gary and Angela and Little sister Krysten. As well as her nieces, cousins and numerous family and friends who will all miss her infectious laugh and huge heart every single day. Fly High Brittany. We will see you later.
