Perry Outhwaite

Obituary of Perry Outhwaite

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Perry Wayne Outhwaite, resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on November 17, 2020 at the age of 66 years. Perry was born in Carberry, Manitoba on August 30, 1954 to Clare and Frances Outhwaite.  He was their third child.  He grew up in Carberry and eventually moved to Dawson Creek, BC with his father Clare in 1991, after Frances had passed in 1989.

Perry loved watching hockey on TV and playing games on his computer.  He had the biggest heart and always had a smile on his face and was willing to lend a hand whenever it was needed.  He spent many hours at Tim Horton’s on Alaska Avenue and there he met all kinds of people and quicky made friends with the staff and patrons along the way.

Perry was predeceased by his parents Clare and Frances Outhwaite, brother in law Ray Neufeld and sister in law Jean Outhwaite.  Perry is survived by his brother Gary, sisters Pat Neufeld and Marilyn McMillan.  Nieces and nephews Amanda Outhwaite, Cory Neufeld (Christine Potratz), Rana Neufeld (Terrance Schreiber), Terri Pickett (Dean Borek) and Lonni Neufeld (Shane Lovell), Charlie McMillan and Nicole McMillan (Carman Mustard) and great nieces and nephews Kyra Outhwaite, Dillon Outhwaite, Breanna Pickett, Kaden Pickett, Brynn Neufeld, Hailey Marion, Olivia Schreiber, Easton Schreiber and Rhianna McMillan.

Perry will be fondly remembered by all of the lives that he touched.  He will be greatly missed by all. Forever in our hearts.

Perry will be laid to rest at a later date, alongside his parents Clare and Frances in Carberry, Manitoba.

For friends so wishing, donations in Perry's memory may be made to South Peace Hospice Palliative Care Society, #3-929-106 Avenue, Dawson Creek, British Columbia V1G 2N9.
