Billie Jeanne Hauber
April 10, 1948 - November 29, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom, Nanny, Sister and Aunt, Billie Jeanne Hauber. Billie passed away on November 29, 2020 in Vernon, BC at the age of 72 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Billie is survived by her son Lorne, her daughters Debbi (Lionel), Barbie, Deanna (Ted) and Becky (Vince);10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 5 sisters and many nieces and nephews. Billie will be sadly missed by us and many others who knew her as their "Nanny" as well as many friends and extended family.
A Celebration of Life for Billie will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Chetwynd, BC with Pastor Bill Evans officiating. A private burial service will take place after the service.
For friends so wishing, donations can be made in Billie's memory to the North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506 27th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4.
