Obituary of Brittany Hutchinson

Brittany Shania Hutchinson was born April 20, 1998 in the Dawson Creek Hospital. She was the second child of Bill and Maxine Hutchinson, little sister to Nicole and eventual older sister to Cassidy. Brittany went to Bonanza school from Kindergarten to Grade 8, and later attended Savanna School where she graduated in 2016.

Brittany was creative in her core with a love to draw, color, and paint. She was accepted into the Evelyn Charles Academy for aesthetics in Edmonton after graduation and although she chose not to pursue it, her talent was undeniable in every drawing of hers. She was also an animal lover; she could not say no to a puppy, even if it meant bringing it home as a surprise, so she couldn’t be told no.

Brittany was taken from us too soon on March 7, 2021. She was predeceased by her mother Maxine Hutchinson, her grandparents Delores and Orville Greentree as well as Phyllis and Morley Feasby, her cousins Branden and Wayne Giesbrecht. She is survived by her father Bill Hutchinson, sisters Nicole (Bryan) Hutchinson and Cassidy Hutchinson, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She will be missed dearly each and every day.

An interment with Brittany’s mother will be held at a later date. For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Brittany to the Dawson Creek Adult Mental Health & Addictions, 1001 110 Ave, Dawson Creek, BC V1G 4X3.
