Obituary of Carol Lepretre
it is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carol Lepretre, resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, in her home on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the age of 55 years. A private family Celebration of Carol's life will be held.
June 8, 1965 - April 3, 2021
We now say good bye to a beautiful soul who's walk in our realm now has come to an end, she has now left us to play amongst the stars and dance with the northern lights. Leaving behind 4 siblings, 3 children, 3 grand babies and, countless others who will dearly miss her kind words and smiling face. She was a woman of many talents, strong spiritual faith and, she was proud to be of Cree decent. She found herself walking the path of a medicine woman. Teaching many the ways of old traditions and embracing the new. She practiced many of her cultures crafts, and having a fantastic eye for art and creativity she made many beautiful things by hand like moccasins, mukluks, and dreamcatchers. She was sarcastic and witty, made light of most situations, but was always quick to help someone who was in need or offer a loving hug. Over her 55 short years, she made many memories and impacted many lives’. She will be greatly missed by all.
