Obituary of Edmond Connelly

Ed was born in Beaverlodge, Alberta on May 23, 1942 to Leo and Loretta Connelly. He passed away peacefully on August 5, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Ed married the love of his life Karen on March 9, 1963 in Grande Prairie, Alberta and they were happily married for fifty-eight years.

Ed had a passion for hockey that started at a young age and followed him throughout his life. His love of the outdoors was equally important, as he spent countless days enjoying family and friends while camping, fishing, hunting and boating with any of us willing to join him.

Throughout his life, he always pursued opportunity’s and was never afraid of a challenge. He was always willing to help those around him and only wanted the best for those he called family and friend.

Ed will live on in our hearts and all the memories we each have of him. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Karen and their children; Shandell and Ward Phillips and their children Dion, Paige and Abby. Paul and Alanna Connelly and their children Tess and Taylor Connelly. Dean and Sharryl Connelly and their boys Dylan and Maxx Connelly.

Brother to Joan (deceased), Darlene (Charlie), Karen (Gordie), Gus (Colleen), brother-in-law to Lorraine (Bill), Elda (Lepine) Bell
