Obituary of Gregory Fraess
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Gregory Fraess on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
Greg was the loving son of Raymond and Debbie Fraess, and the devoted and proud father of Brandon and Kaitlyn Fraess.
Greg was born and raised in Nanaimo, BC surrounded by his loving family and friends. Greg was a happy, blond-haired, blue-eyed boy who was always smiling. He enjoyed his days with his friends outdoors playing road hockey, baseball, and swimming. Greg held many lifelong friendships from childhood.
In his later years, he spent his days at the Nanaimo River, watching his Canucks, and enjoying time with his children.
Greg’s children were his everything, his pride and joy. He always spoke so highly of them. He was a proud father and family man.
Greg was overjoyed to become a grandpa. His whole face would beam with pride when he spoke of his grandsons arrival. He would’ve made a wonderful grandpa.
Greg was very loved by all those who held the honour of knowing him. His presence was a gift to this world. A walking angel. Greg lit up every room he entered with his buoyant personality and witty nature. His laugh and smile were so contagious.
Greg a compassionate, selfless, warm man with a heart of gold.
Greg will forever be missed by all those who loved him. The world will never be the same without him.
