Obituary of Earle Huber
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Earle Huber, at his home in Dawson Creek, British Columbia on January 6, 2022 at the age of 63 years.
All his family and friends called him Earle.
Earle was born in Victoria, British Columbia on November 10, 1958 and moved with his family to Dawson Creek at the age of ten. He was the youngest of three children born to Eleanor and John Huber.
As a child growing up, he was mischievous and rambunctious while playing with his friends. As an adult he was well liked by his friends and co-workers and loved by his family. His neighbours have told us that he was very good hearted to them all.
Earle attended school in Dawson Creek and later worked a variety of jobs locally and one that took him to the arctic. It was his love of security work that finally led him to form his own security company in 2003. That company is Metro One Security Patrol BC Ltd.
He enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee, four wheeling, and fishing but his real love was for his dogs.
Earle was predeceased by his parents and will be fondly missed by his older sisters, Heather Meunier and Jillian Leuenberger along with their families. Earle requested to be returned to Vancouver Island.
