Obituary of Rachel Dionne
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rachel “Gabrielle” Dionne, a long-time resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the age of 88 years. Rachel was born in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan on September 6, 1933, and passed away peacefully in her room at Rotary Manor.
She leaves to mourn her 5 children, Paulette, Paul, Michelle, Guy and Marc; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; as well as many extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Dawson Creek and District Hospital and Rotary Manor for the excellent care that Rachel received.
A Celebration of Life for Rachel will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 in Reynars Funeral Chapel at 1:00pm. For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Rachel to the Dawson Creek Senior Citizens Hall, 1101 McKellar Ave, Dawson Creek, BC, V1G 2S2.
