Obituary of Don Tenborg
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald (Don) Henry Tenborg, on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at his home in Chetwynd, British Columbia, at the age of 85 years.
Don was born on Monday, October 12, 1936, in Dawson Creek, British Columbia to Henry and Alice Tenborg and became part of a large family.
He could be described as energetic and a lover of nature. Don enjoyed many hunting trips with friends over the years. In the later years of his life, he liked a weekly trip to town, a good game of solitaire, and his bowl of cornflakes with canned milk and a whole lot of sugar. Don enjoyed his career at the Canfor sawmill in Chetwynd until his retirement after 36 years.
Don was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Julie.
Don is survived by his 4 children, Karen (Carl) Fedderly, Emil (Wendy) Tenborg, Janice (Gary) Jameson, and David Tenborg; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
With respect to Don’s wishes no formal service will be held.
