Obituary of Laura Dowe
Laura Dowe, a long-time resident of Arras, BC, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, in Dawson Creek, BC at the age of 82 years.
Laura was born to Herbert and Adelia Green on December 22, 1939 in New Brunswick. She was one of eight children. Laura later moved to BC and met her husband, Burton, in Prince George, BC. Burton and Laura had 5 children together.
While raising the children, Laura enjoyed gardening, going trapping and hunting with Burton and being outdoors. She also like to paint, do puzzles and purchase lottery tickets.
Laura is survived by her children; David, Darlene (Fraser) and Marlowe (Lana), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters; Mary (Brent) and Shirley, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Laura was predeceased by her husband; Burton, sons; Daniel and Farrell, parents; Herbert and Adelia, as well as siblings; Rocky, Samuel, Basil, Margie and Stella.
A graveside service will be held in the Brookside Cemetery on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1:00PM where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and sons.
