Obituary of Carol "Toni" Beal

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carol “Toni” Beal, long-time resident of Arras, British Columbia, on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the age of 70 years.  Toni passed away surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Toni was born in England on Thursday, February 21, 1952 and moved to Vancouver, BC with her family settling in Abbotsford as a young girl.  She eventually made her way north to Quesnel, BC before landing in beautiful Dawson Creek in 1993.  She made Arras her home for the past 13 years, creating a small hobby farm with her husband Jeff.

Toni treasured time spent with all her pets, her many grandchildren, her family, and friends.  She had such a love for animals and was famous for surprising us by bringing home a new dog, or a miniature pony, making us smile.  She loved having a house full of family and enjoyed gathering her children and grandchildren around for potluck dinners and playing festive holiday games with her grandkids.  Toni loved baking, knitting, and walking or quadding around her property.

Toni was predeceased by her granddaughter Embrie; son-in-law Neel; and her parents, Laurence and Doris.

Toni is survived by her devoted husband Jeff; her beautiful daughters April (Darren) and Laura (Alan); wonderful son Drew (April); her many grandchildren, all of whom brought her so much joy; her loving sister Susan (Gerry);   as well as numerous extended family and friends.

With respect to Toni’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
