Obituary of Eileen Tritthardt
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Eileen Tritthardt, a lifelong resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Monday, July 11, 2022, at the age of 70 years.
Eileen Ellen Tritthardt was born March 14, 1952, in the old Dawson Creek St. Joseph Hospital (Have you seen pictures of the old one?!), to parents William and Jessie Tritthardt who have long been deceased.
She was the middle child with an older brother John who is married to Donna, and they have two boys, or shall I say two grown successful men, Brian, and Wayne with their own families. Her younger brother Harold lives down at the coast in Victoria. Eileen never married and has no children.
Being a homegrown girl, she started her education at Dawson Elementary. Moved on to Junior Central and graduated from South Peace Senior Secondary. After graduating, she worked for the government and CJDC. Being an adventurous one, it was off to Surrey and then Edmonton, but big city life was not for her, and she always returned to her hometown. Eileen was an avid reader and loved her arts and crafts. This is where she could be found creating something that would make people smile and laugh.
Only a block from where she was born, on the morning of July 11, 2022, Eileen peacefully passed away. We will miss you sis.
A Graveside Service will be held for Eileen on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 1pm, at the Dawson Creek City Cemetery. Terry Coe will officiate.
Very Respectfully, Reynars Funeral Home & Crematorium
