Obituary of Gerald "Auger" McGuire
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Arnold "Auger" McGuire, resident of Chetwynd, British Columbia, on Friday, September 30, 2022, at the age of 61 years.
Gerald was born on Monday, December 12, 1960, in Woodstock, New Brunswick, to parents Corbett and Marie McGuire. He was one of seven children.
Gerald is survived by his partner Kim Fitzgerald; sons Corbett McGuire and Brandon (Paige) McGuire of Grande Prairie, Alberta; a dear grandson Dallas McGuire of Grande Prairie, Alberta; siblings Linda (Claude) Richard of Moncton, New Brunswick, Barbara (Barry) Anderson of St John, New Brunswick, Brenda LaPointe of Hunter River, Prince Edward Island, Lloyd (Donna Lee) McGuire of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Jane (Chris) Diduch of Fredericton, New Brunswick; and the mother of his children, Denise Young McGuire of Nackawic, New Brunswick; as well as many extended family and friends.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents Corbett and Marie McGuire; brother Harold William McGuire; and brother in-law Ray LaPointe.
Gerald will be greatly missed by his many friends and co-workers not only in Chetwynd, but in New Brunswick as well.
A Celebration of Life for Gerald will be held at a later date.
