Obituary of Naomie Gladue

it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Naomie Gladue, resident of Chetwynd, British Columbia, on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the age of 22 years. A wake will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in the Chetwynd Legion at 4:00pm.  A Funeral Service will follow on Thursday, October 27, 2022 in the Chetwynd Legionat 11:00 am.  Pauline Haycock will officiate.  Naomie will be laid to rest in the Tuscoola Moutain Cemetery following the service.

Naomie Billie Victoria Gladue    

October 17, 1999 ~ October 12, 2022    

Naomie Billie Victoria Gladue was born on Sunday, October 17, 1999, to parents Melanie Jill Cervo and Billy Joe Gladue.  She was one of 4 children.  They grew up in Chetwynd, Surrey and Abbotsford, British Columbia, attending Windrem Elementary in Chetwynd, George Vanier School in Surrey and Chetwynd Senior Secondary for her high school years.  Family was everything to Naomie, if she loved you, it was for life.  Naomie was a free spirit, never judging others.  She had a beautiful spirit; she was larger than life and had a laugh that could fill the room.

Naomie loved skateboarding, reading books and poems, watching documentaries, and listening to all types of music. This world was definitely a better place with Naomie in it.

Naomie is survived by her parents Melanie Cervo, and Billy Joe Gladue; sister Tamara Berg, brother Alec Gladue; nephew Zavian Landon; grandparents Bill and Blanche Gladue; grandmother Roxanne Cervo, as well as many extended family and friends

Naomie was predeceased by her brother Aric Gladue; uncles Danny Cervo and Russell Gladue.
