Obituary of Ginny McFadyen
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia “Ginny” May McFadyen, a resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the age of 79 years.
Ginny was born Wednesday, June 30, 1943, in Hillcrest, Alberta, daughter to George and Rita Mulholland and sister to Ray, Roy, and John. Virginia was a talented person who could turn any hobby craft into an artform, especially ceramics and needlework.
Ginny was predeceased by her parents George and Rita; and brothers Roy and John.
Ginny is survived by her husband of 53 years Terry; son Lyle (Natasa); daughter Allison; grandchildren Joshua, Maya, Laughlin (Kiersten), Morgan, Abbigail; great-grandchildren Lincoln and Nora.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ericki and the nursing staff at the Dawson Creek Hospital for the wonderful care provided to Ginny in her final days and hours.
With respect to Ginny’s wishes, no formal service will be held at this time. The family will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date.
