Betty and Hughie Cain posted a condolence

Our deepest condolences to Annabelle and Brad’s entire family and his huge circle of dear friends, as they try to cope with the sudden passing of such a great man! Brad entered my families life in the early 80’s back at our farm in Hillgrove, NB and it was there that he instantly became a part of us all and it was like another son had entered my life! Brads love for all and huge heart made him a person that will never be forgotten, even though his path lead him back to the west coast. It was great seeing him each time he made his way east for a visit and we always picked up right where we had left off! Rest in Peace Brad!
Sincerely Betty (Lewis) Cain

Sincere and hearfelt condolences to all the family for your immense loss. I had the priviledge of knowing Bradley when he came to my spa for reflexology treatments. We shared something very special in common....we both lost our precious daughters. We counselled each other unknowingly and shared feelings of grief and loss and subsequntly became fast friends. I am saddened by his passing but take comfort knowing that he is at peace with his daughter. Lovingly...Dee and family

It is with a numb heart that I write this in memory of Brad… how is this even possible? Brad entered my entire families life back in Hillgrove, NB many years ago and my Mom & Dad (Reg & Betty Lewis) quickly thought of him as another son, because of his fun loving, respectful, charming, great natured character. He quickly became a big brother to my brother (Brad Lewis) and entered his life at the perfect time, a friendship that flourished and become best of friends! He was also a best friend to my sister Kim and Chris Mosher and with all living out West, it helped to keep their friendship/visits regular. The budding friendships were all during the “Rodeo days” and they all travelled the circuit together, taking turns getting bucked off and injured, but I honestly feel that their love of all being together (more so than the sport itself) kept them all connected and quickly subsided the pain of their injuries. I’ll never forget Brad getting bucked off only to get up, put his cowboy hat back in place and saying “do you ever think I’ll make a cowboy?” Of course this was said with a smile on his face and that infectious chuckle in his voice! My deepest condolences to the entire family and the long list of friends (like myself) who are deeply affected by the loss of such a great guy! I know your smile is even bigger than ever now as you hold your “Dear Kali” once again! You are now in a place where you can be and do anything your big heart desires… so “Ride ‘em Cowboy” and hold on tight, you’ll always be “Our Cowboy” ~~~ PEACE, LOVE AND LIGHT!
Sincerely Kelly & Brent Constantine

Brad, came into my life when I was a young kid and needed a big brother the most, and that is what I considered him. He took me under his wing and showed me the ropes of life. (some good, some bad haha) He was eight years older than me, so to having this young kid tag along with him every where he went was a pain I am sure at times. My parents trusted me with him because he was part of the family, they knew he would never let anything bad happen to me, and he didn’t. Later on in life we became better friends, having him be my best man in wedding meant the world to me and soon to be wife Lisa. He had made such an impression on our lives, what better way to honor him was to name our first born of twins after him, Lane Cameron. Years later our other son Denver decided he wanted to head west, well no doing Brad was the first one we contacted as we knew if he needed anything, Brad would be there for him.
I consider myself fortunate to have had him in life, it saddens me know I will have that no longer, but it make me smile to know his is reunited with his baby girl Kali.
Gone but will never be forgotten.

It was a shock to hear of your sudden passing Brad. You have met and made many friends in life and left behind memories that will last forever. I was fortunate to have spent time with you at your home in Dawson Creek while working out west. Will always remember and hold dear our many rodeo memories.. May you rest in peace now with your daughter.

Memories it makes us sad that we won’t be making more. Brad you were a huge part of our families life. From the moment you visited the Lewis farm you were part of the family. All the fun and the injuries we had rodeoing, all great memories. You were there when Chris and I started dating, best man at our wedding , uncle Brad to our kids. You were part of all our major events truly a family member. We know part of you died when Kali did, we find peace in knowing that you are holding her tight in your arms in heaven. I met Brad at Caissie Cape, New Brunswick in 1975. We were inseparable during those two weeks. He flew to my university graduation in 1981 in South Carolina and spent a week in Florida with my family and me.
I’m very sad to hear of his passing but I know I’ll see him in Heaven some day.

Brad, I will remember you as a natural charmer who’s quick smile and a little wink could make others feel special. You always spoke your truth - giving many compliments and the occasional criticism - you were never one to hold back. You were a great story teller and life gave you lots of stories and friends to share them with. You were never afraid to try something new and had many adventures. Although you left this earth too early, you lived a full life -your way!!! You endured much pain after Kali’s death so it is reassuring to know that you can hug your little girl again. Rest Easy my friend.
