Obituary of Betty Hollingshead
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Jean Hollingshead, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-gram, and great-great-gram. She passed peacefully into a better place with her favourite grandson beside her on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the age of 95 years.
A very strong pioneer woman, our mom lived all her life in the Doe River area until her health brought her to town. She will be remembered for her faith, her loyalty, her strength, and her love of family.
A Graveside Service will be held for Betty on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 1:00pm at the Peace View Cemetery, Shearer Dale, British Columbia. Pauline Haycock will officiate.
