Obituary of Kiara Agnew
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kiara Wanda Rose Agnew, known fondly to some as “Kia”. A resident of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Kiara passed on Friday, March 3, 2023, in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, at the age of 23 years.
Kiara was born March 11, 1999, at 4:03pm in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, as the eldest daughter of Michele and Trevor Agnew. She attended DCSS South Peace in Dawson Creek where she graduated in 2017. Kiara was a bright and lively lady who was always up for an adventure. She was loved greatly and will be missed just as much.
Kiara was predeceased by her brother Jordan Agnew; grandmothers Laura Agnew, Laureen Holt; and her special cat Loki.
Kiara is survived by her parents Michele Agnew and Trevor Agnew (Naomi); chosen parents Ricky Matchett (Ami Travis), Rae Lynn Johnson; siblings Tiana Agnew (Colt Switzer), Rebecca Matchett; nephew Caesar Switzer; grandparents Eric Levesque, Margaret Casely, Virginia Leger, Wanda Bonnar, Patrick Agnew, John Holt; two furry children Sampson and Saoirse; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held.
