Obituary of Evelyn Rattray
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Evelyn Georgina Rattray, a resident of Salmon Arm, British Columbia, formerly of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the age of 92 years.
Evelyn Georgina Rattray will be remembered as a loving family member and friend. The impact that she had on the world was spread across 92 years through her powerful energy and generosity. A story that began in Telegraph Creek, British Columbia in 1931, Evelyn’s journey took her across the globe where her spirit will be remembered far and wide.
Evelyn’s family is a testament to her love and a display of the special person that she was. Her healing work will have a lasting impact that can be felt as strongly today as ever.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Reynars Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service to follow on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 2:00pm from Reynars Funeral Chapel. Ann Ball will officiate. Evelyn will be laid to rest in Dawson Creek City Cemetery follwing the service. A dinner will be held following the interment at the Kiwanis Performing Arts Center at 6:00pm, doors open at 4:30pm.
