Obituary of Roger Allen Abel
Roger Abel was born on May 25, 1946 in Pouce Coupe, BC. Roger was a lifelong resident of the Peace River area. After a long battle with heart disease, Roger passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 in Dawson Creek, at the age of 66 years. Roger is survived by his siblings, Bruce Abel, Gerald Abel, Leslie Ness, Shirley Carrier and Sharon Hinson; children Dave (Lorill) Abel, Sharla (Mitch) Brandle, Laura Abel (Lance Patterson), and Kyle Abel; grandchildren, Lisa, Brenda, Jodi, Faith and Kalen Abel, Shannon and Steven Brandle, and great-grandchildren, Rylen McClarty and Kane Bates. He was predeceased by his parents Ben Abel and Mary Brownscome.
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm from Reynars Funeral Chapel, Reverend Marilyn Carroll officiated. Interment will be at a later date.
