Obituary of Donald Ellsworth Wheeler

Don passed away on May 2, 2012 at the age of 70 years. Born September 18th 1941 in Cobourg Ontario. He will be sadly missed and remembered by friends and his Family; Son Jamie Donald Grant Wheeler,(Louise) grandchildren: Evan Riley Wheeler , Emily Grace Wheeler Also by his sister Darlene. Don was predeceased by Brooklyn Wheeler (granddaughter) and Joyce Wheeler (mother) Don spent most of his life as a traveling musician playing Guitar/Piano/Bass as well as singing over the years with many bands. From North to South, East to West all over Canada and even dabbled in the U.S.A. Meeting some great country performers such as Waylon Jennings, Reba McEntire, Kenny Rodgers, and Buck Owens to name a few. Don Was always a people person, he could talk to anyone about anything and made many friends over the years because of this great trait. In his later years Don was more settled to one city. Dawson Creek B.C Where he still played from time to time but was more of a homebody. Content to stay at home, play on his computer, watch T.V and visit with all of his friends in the area at the legion. He will be missed by his adopted family... Donna and her children (Shauntai & Leon ), Russel (Sheena & Dave),Candice and well remembered by his Wapiti Sand and gravel crew, and his fellow Musicians. A special note from his son Jamie: "Dad will rest in Peace with his son wife and grandchildren .... we will see you in heaven pops." Very Respectfully Reynars Funeral Home and Crematorium.
