Roger Roy passed away on October 19, 2014 in Dawson Creek, BC at the young age of 84.</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
Son of Ulric and Alice Roy (predeceased). Roger worked in the lumber camps and farmed prior to becoming a Branch Manager in the dairy business until his retirement. Roger worked in the Peace River Country for his entire life.</p>

Roger is survived by his spouse Georgette Roy; daughters Lorraine (and Ron) Collins and Lise Isabelle (Marty Peterson); son Richard (and Lisa) Roy; grandchildren Jason (and Laurie) Jensen, Jodi (and Kyle) Wedderburn, Jesse Collins, Hailey (and Daryl) Crutch, Luc Roy and Elyse Roy; great grandchildren Layton and Arrin Jensen, Easton and Rawlings Wedderburn, Graysen Collins and Austin Crutch; sister Annette Pinard; brother Raymond Roy. He will be remembered, also, by nieces, nephews and friends both in the province and around the world.</p>

A celebration of life will be held in May of 2015. Memorial donations may be made in Roger’s name for the acquisition of convertible chair beds to the Dawson Creek and District Hospital Palliative Care Unit. </p>
