Obituary of Roger Roy
Roger Roy passed away on October 19, 2014 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia at the young age of 84. He was born February 9, 1930, the son of Ulric and Alice Roy (predeceased). Roger worked in lumber camps and farmed prior to becoming a Branch Manager in the dairy business until his retirement. Roger worked in the Peace River Country for his entire life.
Roger is survived by his spouse, Georgette Roy; daughters Lorraine (Ron) Collins and
Lise Isabelle (Marty Peterson); son Richard (Lisa) Roy; grandchildren Jason (Laurie) Jensen,
Jodi (Kyle) Wedderburn, Jesse Collins, Hailey (Daryl) Crutch, Luc Roy, and Elyse Roy; great grandchildren Layton and Arrin Jensen, Easton and Rawlings Wedderburn, Graysen Collins, and Austin Crutch; sister Annette Pinard; and brother Raymond Roy. He will also be remembered by nieces, nephews, and friends both in the province and around the world.
